Full-Time Packaging Supervisor for the evening shift. This position will be responsible to oversee all packaging employees to navigate and properly sort all products efficiently. This position requires experience in leading team members. Compensation rate is $18-20 depending on experience. Benefits included.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble trays and racks according to delivery routes

• Sort products into trays and racks according to order descriptions

• Communicate with employees from different departments to provide easiest transportation of products.

• Ensure products are being properly distributed to allocated routes and trays by counting and double checking order slips

• Provide quality control with products being packaged

• Oversee and complete food safety documentations needed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

• Follow good manufacturing practices and comply with FDA regulations

• Create schedules for department employees on bi-weekly basis

• Notify and email administrative officers with any employee matters such as absences, missed punches, and times off.

• Oversee packaging department for all issues and other related matters related to packaging department

• Log packaging materials on a weekly basis

• Lead team in efficiency and effectively support one another to accomplish set tasks

Requirements:

• Able to communicate with employees in other departments

• Communication and basic computer skills

• Experience in packaging food products

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to push carts as heavy as 15 pounds
